Make a TERRIBLE mistake ... and admit to it.  Observe carefully and listen to the data even when it goes against what you already know/believe.  Follow the data and experiment.  Observe the results and change your process even if it originally went against existing models.  Reap the rewards.

Great watch.  Counter intuitive but proven to actually fix multiple problems.

What if you knew that the person you are trashing was to meet you at your car?  In the life of hard living Henry Rollins, that was the case.  So trash talk was minimal

Nah.  I don't want to go back to coal.  Solar all the way.  Go, Go, Tesla (and the likes)!

What if karma is real?  Karma being not so much about punishment and reward but more about keeping energy levels in equilibrium.  That is, energy being neither created nor destroyed and all that…

The Environment-Meat Connection

Larisa D.

According to Scientific American, livestock feed in the U.S. requires the yearly use of 167 million pounds of pesticides, 17 BILLION pounds of nitrogen fertilizer, and 149 million acres of cropland. This process produces large amounts of nitrous oxide, a greenhouse gas that traps 300 times more heat than carbon dioxide. This amount of feed could take care of around 800 million people. There are more numbers but these seem pretty compelling. Reducing the amount of meat we eat can reduce the amount of greenhouse gases we emit in the atmosphere.

What is Yoga All About? What is Yoga All About?     Here are some of my favorite reasons for not doing Yoga. “I have to lose weight before I start exercising.” (Hm?)   “I’m just not flexible enough to do Yoga!” (C’mon!)   “Yoga is for girls.” (HEY!) “I hate not being able to do stuff.  I’m gonna feel so stupid.” (We’ve all been there.) “I have to get some energy first.”(Breeeeeathe)   “I’m too busy to exercise.” (Can’t work if you have a heart attack from stress accumulated from overworking...) “I can’t sit still… ” (This is the root of ALL of mankind’s problems.) “It’s just too boring.” (Hooked on distractions much?)   “My arms are too short” (Nope. That would be your hamstrings.) “My body just doesn’t do that.” (What if it did? What else could you do?)   “I’m afraid I’m going to hurt myself.” (So don’t. Listen to your body and you’ll be fine.) “I don’t want to wear tights!” (Fully supportive of your choice!)   “I don’t do that chanting, woo-woo weird stuff.” (Ok. This one I get. Not all classes and teachers do that because, yes, it’s way far out of many people’s comfort zones and Yoga is not about pushing.) What is Yoga about?
